Should you use Sonara?

The operator disclosure is the deciding issue. Older reviews do not establish the current team, support history, or customer experience. Judge the current offer only on the terms you can see today.

Is Sonara still operating, and who owns it?

As of our August 12, 2026 check, sonara.ai was live and selling an auto-apply service. Its homepage said, “Cast a wider net. 10x your job applications,” and described three steps: learning about the candidate, finding jobs, and applying. The homepage also called Sonara a partner of Monster and CareerBuilder.

Sonara's privacy policy, last updated July 21, 2026, named BOLD LLC as the operator and also referenced Auxiliant S.à r.l. That establishes the current operator. It does not establish that the current product delivers the same experience described in older reviews.

We attempted to revisit Sonara on August 20, but its pages returned HTTP 503 to our capture service while the homepage loaded from another network. We therefore did not treat the site as offline, and we kept Sonara-specific facts dated to August 12 rather than presenting them as newly verified.

What changed at Sonara?

The current privacy policy names BOLD LLC as operator, but Sonara's public pages did not explain when or how that change occurred. We could not locate a Sonara statement that established a shutdown date, acquisition date, transfer of customer data, or continuity of the old service.

That missing history limits what a buyer can infer from older coverage. A review written before BOLD appeared in the privacy policy may describe a different product, team, support process, or billing arrangement. It should not be used as evidence for the service available now.

We found no public explanation on sonara.ai of the operator change or how accounts and data from earlier versions were handled. Returning users should ask whether an old account or stored data still exists and review the current privacy and billing terms before signing in.

What Sonara says it does now

The current homepage described a familiar auto-apply process:

1. Create a profile. Provide a resume, target roles, locations, and preferences.
2. Receive matched jobs. Sonara says it finds relevant openings from an aggregated feed.
3. Let the software apply. The company says its platform continuously finds and applies to openings until the customer is hired.

The published workflow did not describe human review before submission. We also found no advertised interview or employment guarantee. If an application could require a sensitive answer, a salary expectation, or a work-authorization explanation, ask how those cases are handled before allowing unattended submissions.

Sonara pricing is not public

Sonara did not publish a readable pricing page during our August 12 check. sonara.ai/pricing returned a 404, so a buyer had to enter the signup process to see the offer. We could not recheck that path on August 20 because Sonara blocked our capture service.

We found no inspectable Sonara source for a current trial price, subscription price, or annual option. Check the live checkout rather than budgeting from figures in older reviews.

Before paying, save the displayed price, renewal interval, cancellation method, and any refund terms. If a trial is offered, set a reminder before it ends. These steps are especially important when the company does not provide a public page you can revisit later.

Why old Sonara ratings do not answer the buying question

Prominent older Sonara reviews predate the current privacy policy's BOLD LLC operator disclosure. We did not find a substantial independent review base clearly tied to the service sold now.

The absence of current reviews does not show that the new service is poor. It means there is not enough independent evidence to use customer ratings as a buying shortcut. The stronger facts are narrower: BOLD is an established operator, the site was active on our dated check, pricing was not public, and no outcome guarantee was advertised.
